Let the Easter festivities begin!

First on the list:
Coloring Easter eggs.

Kennedy was a big help this year. She's become pretty independent and wanted to do it ALL by herself!

Plain and simple was the motto for these eggs. We had to color eggs pretty fast due to daddy's crazy work schedule, but it got done.

We have a pretty jammed packed weekend. We have an egg hunt tonight and 2 tomorrow. phew....mommy is going to be SO tired.

Pregnancy update:

I'm feeling GREAT! A little tired but that's it. I can definitely handle that. I was sick my whole pregnancy with Kennedy so this has been a relief. I sure hope it stays this way.

I have my first sonogram May 11 to see baby Taylor and I can't wait!

What's been going on in Taylor ville????

It's finally gotten warm enough to get outside and enjoy it.

We're definitely enjoying spring time.

It's too funny...she's been so responsible for these little flowers. Everyday she reminds Adam to water them and looks to see how much they've grown.

It amazes me each day how big and smart our little girl is getting.

Last night in the bath tub Kennedy was playing with her toys and we were talking and out of no where she asked me "mommy how do I look?" I kinda thought this was an odd question but I reply with "I don't know Kennedy. How do you look?" She says, "distinguished!" I said, "WHAT?!" Again she says, "distinguished!!" OK, of course I had to hit spell check to see how to spell distinguished but my 3 yr old knows how to use the word in proper form. I'm not sure where she got it from but it completely blew me away! I sure hope she wants to look distinguished as she gets into her teenage years...lol!!

It was my ahhh-haaa moment! They really pay attention to what you say!

Finally I have something to post about.

Playing a little catch up.
The week I had off pretty much consist of little house work, chilling in the chair, catching up on some greys, enjoying my little family and I guess to sum it all up I done NOTHING.
What a great week! lol!
We did get a picture on the way to church. I did manage to got to church that week.




Races Has Started Up
Last Thursday night Adam and the mini cup cars had there first practice. The season officially starts mid March but these guys had to get in a practice.
I will say this is pretty fun. We try make it a family event. Most of the time Kennedy comes along and she really likes. There will be some races that she'll sit out on because it gets so hot and that's not enjoyable for her or for me.
Adam really enjoys racing and I love to watch him do it. It's like a kid on Christmas!!

Sunday Lunch at Nanny's and Papa T's House

This past Sunday we had family Lunch at the Taylor's. We don't get to do this very often due to everyone schedules but it's always a blast.

Kennedy and her wheels..... She got a 4-wheeler for Christmas and this gal goes EVERYWHERE on it! She's a pro!

Checkout that cool set up! I need to get her one to hold all the paints and such but Aunt Shane (Adam's sister) gave this to us. Thanks Aunt Shane! It works for now and she LOVES it!

On a side note. I'm SOOOO ready for spring. I'm ready for everything to be bright and colorful, Clothing, shoes, the green grass, days outside, pedicures and having a tan. Goodness, I guess I'm not asking for a lot huh??!! Please come spring!

I guess that's pretty much it in the Taylor home the past 2 weeks.

Round our house.

Not too much going on in Taylor ville lately.
Just pretty much work and hanging around the house then repeat again...lol!

I haven't shared this yet but recently we have found out Kennedy has many food allergies. It started the week after Christmas. I noticed her cheeks looked more flushed than normal, then she started breaking out in these weird rashes (which were hives) and these symptoms would come in go very quick. I made a doctors appointment immediately and they had said it definitely is a food allergy. They sent us to have blood work done and come to find out she's allergic to wheat, peanuts, egg whites and all diary products. Her wheat and peanut allergy is very mild but the diary and egg white is a class 2. Meaning she breaks out in hives every time she eats it. We have limited her wheat intake because EVERYTHING has wheat in it. It's almost impossible to eliminate wheat ALL together. We have been to several health food stores and have gotten things wheat and gluten free like her snacks. We have eliminated all diary, peanut and egg whites from her diet and it seems to be working. Hopefully she'll grow out of this terrible allergy. Praise the Lord she has adapted VERY well and will even ask me sometimes "mommy can I have this or does it have egg in it?!". She double checks...lol!
At first I was a little down about this but I'm SO glad it's something minor and she could very well grow out of it. The Lord opened my eyes up very fast and I'm so blessed that it wasn't something major.

I'm off work for a whole week. I'm SO excited. I can't remember the last time I've been off work for a complete week. I plan to do nothing, nothing and more of nothing (maybe a little blogging!).
