Kennedy's first field trip

Kennedy's first field trip was to our local corn maze/pumpkin patch. They also have animals, a hay ride, a tub of corn to play in, and many other little things for them to do!
She absolutely LOVED it!
It was so neat to watch her with her classmates. Interacting and playing with them. They have the funniest conversations!
She had to sport her pumpkin shirt made by my good friend Jenn!

Going in the corn maze with cousin Bryce.

Picking out her pumpkin.

These two pretty much hung out the whole day.

We had a blast.

Lets just say mama was wore slap out by the end of the day!

Pregnancy update

Yikes, it's been a while.
Time is actually going by pretty fast this time around and I'm SO thankful for that. The sickness is still lingering but I'm still managing to keep growing....(as you can see!). I don't have much energy and the little I do have i spend it with my little one.

Baby Briggs Adam Taylor

From left to right: 5month, 6month, 6.5months and 7months.

Just a Little update on some random things:
I'm 29 weeks and counting.
Seeing the doctor every 2 weeks now!
I have a shower coming up in the next 2 weeks.
Kennedy is LOVING pre-school!
The nursery is almost complete (pics to come soon).
I crave pizza!

Hopefully, I can somehow get back in a routine of blogging. I spend a lot of time relaxing now so I have NO excuse!

I look forward to catching up on blogs and posting!!!

My little girl is getting SO big

OK, lets get this monkey off my back.....
I've been trying for weeks (yes, weeks) to post but haven't found the energy or time (time to get off the couch and do something). I'm getting some energy spurts here and there so I'm trying to take advantage of that!

This summer has completely flown by.

We had several mini trips to a local water park, we took a small vacay to the beach and had a quick trip to a larger water park. We've had a blast this summer and so has Kennedy. Now it's winding down and my little girl has started her first year of preschool.
TEAR!!!
The first day, while we were getting her ready she says "mommy, WILL you and daddy just drop me off please!" YIKES, where did this come from? Bitter sweet I guess. No tears from her. I just got a little choked up!
Her big girl backpack and lunch box.

She wasn't to interested in taking a picture with mommy (and baby...21 wks and counting!).

Getting ready to go into class.

And...the nervous finger in the mouth!!

She was a little shy at first but she opened right up.

Now we're on second week and doing great. Every morning she ask if it's time for school today?

I'm glad she's loving it and I'm enjoying very quite mornings sipping on some coffee watching Reggis and Kelly. At least until baby Briggs gets here.

And yes, finally a name. Biggs Adam Taylor!

A little update on baby:

Growing, and SO AM I!! Goodness this belly is getting out of control and early.

Sickness, is still hanging around but not as bad.

I'm 22wks.

The nursery is coming together (post pics soon).

That's pretty much it!

Maybe my next post won't be a month away!

Pregnancy progress and some randomness

These past 2 months has sure been a struggle, but FINALLY things are getting much better. After 2 1/2 weeks of an IV hook up and a Zophran pump I have finally got over that pregnancy sickness hump. I am 100% better and completely enjoying pregnancy number 2!
I'm almost 17 weeks and growing everyday it seems like.
Last week we went for an early sonogram and I'm EXCITED TO SAY/SHOUT.....we're having a

BOY!!One of each! We couldn't be more excited over our wonderful news. Kennedy is too! I look forward to sharing our journey of the expanding Taylor family!

Here is just a little recap of what's been going on.

Last month our church had V.B.S.

The theme this year was the Big Apple!
All of the little ones sported these cute hats.

The was last night. They done a small performance.

The whole V.B.S. group.

Kennedy and cousin Caleb.

We had our 2ND annual 4Th of July cookout. We just had friends and family over. And of course enjoyed some fun, food, games and some swimming.

Kennedy's 4Th of July dress that her Meme made her.

That's pretty much it in the Taylor household these days.

I think I'm finally getting to that 2ND trimester energy burst. I'm having a little more motivation. Hopefully that means more blogging and picture taking.

Mother's Day

What a great Mother's Day I had.
It was wonderful because our family got to be together. We're normally scattered out during the day but this year we all got to do lunch together (minus my hubby who had to work). I love this girl!!!

All of the grand girls riding in the boat.

The men! My dad and brother...don't they favor!?

My wonder sweet Mama a.k.a. Grammy.

Easter

Here I am a almost 2 weeks after Easter finally doing a post about Easter.
Wow, has this pregnancy gotten rough. I've went from feeling great and NO sickness to EXTREMELY tired and sickness. I completely forgot how tiring your first trimester is. My blog and lots of other things (my house) has suffered due to this pregnancy! I just pray the sickness goes away.

OK, on to Easter.
Trying to snap a family photo as we're rushing to Sunday School.....Kennedy wasn't having it.

After church we finally got one.

Abigael, Kennedy and Jenna. Her friends from class.

Her Sunday school class.

Kennedy and her friend Tallulah. It's amazing how much they favor. Even to the dresses that weren't planned!

My wonderful parents.

After church we went to my Aunts for the traditional family egg hunt.

All of the cousins/great grands.

My niece Memphis.

Kennedy and Aunt Amy.

Me, my brother, sister (and spouses) and our kids with nanny.

We had such a great Easter. It's hard to believe next year we'll have a new lil edition and this picture will have one more little one.
