And YES.....Kennedy's front teeth are gone! I'm not sure if you've noticed in some of her pictures in the past but they've gone for about 2 months now!
Back in January we're at a baby shower for one of my good friends at the church and she was playing around....well, you know how a 2 year old plays! Full speed! She was Running (with all of the other kids of course) and ran into a chair then fell face first on the concrete ground! OUCH!!!Her mouth immediately started to bleed but I just thought she busted her lip! So, we left the shower of course .....oh and maybe I should add that I woke her up from a nap to go to this baby shower so it was doomed to begin with! LOL! Anyways, I watched her mouth for a few days and it looked fine, just a little swollen! Well, about a month later her front 2 teeth started to chip and discolor within matter of days! Of course I freak out take her to the pediatric dentist....and then freak out again because he tells me they have to come out because it has caused nerve damage! YIKES......my baby won't have front teeth again until she's 6 or 7 at the earliest!? Well after some time praying and listening to the dentist we had them removed! She done great! It was a major deal, she had to be put to sleep because of her age and the 2 teeth beside them were also capped because they were cracked! Needless to say it was a huge deal for mommy not only emotionally but finically....who would have known it would cost a small fortune for that! Praise the Lord it got covered under medical insurance because it was accidental related!!
So, my lil one will be sportin the snaggle teeth for quite sometime!

Abbi- My sister and I were playing slip n slide on the kitchen floor (that we just wet with a mop...) and I knocked out her front tooth- she wore a fake one for a few years before her adult tooth came in...makes for a funny story now, but my mom was NOT happy about it at the time....
Oh my stars Abbi,
Poor baby!!!
She looks adorable though. Do they think her regular teeth will come in okay or will that require more surgery?
Have a Blessed day friend,
Dawn
Oh no!! I'm she's ok! I would've freaked out too!
Oh Abbi! I understand your emotions! Dallon fell & damaged his when he was about that same age but was able to keep them until he was five. So his toothless grin lasted about two years. Rocco has a grey chipped tooth & we call him 'The Black-Toothed Pirate'. we don't remember a particular incident but he is the third boy so I think that's normal.
Bless her heart! She looks so adorable though and I'm so glad that it wasn't any worse than it was.
Abbi, this could be the cutest picture of Kennedy I have ever seen.
