Christmas Spirit

We (or should I say "I") finally got our tree up. I'm officiall in the Christmas spirit! I have this feeling though, and I don't know if anyone else feels this way, but I kinda feel like it's a little to late and Christmas is almost over. My house is finally Christmas ready and my heart but I can't help but to think it's all over in a week! Isn't that terrible? This is my favorite time of year and it always seems to go by so fast. We get so caught up in all of the shopping and parties that I don't take time to slow down and enjoy the moment. The moment of the day our Savior was born. Tonight was our first trip to see Santa! We journeyed to the local mall (when I say local I mean it's 40 minutes away) where Santa was going to be and expecting there to be a crowd. I thought wrong. It was awesome! We literally were the only people in line. It was decorated so cute and it had to be the nicest Santa I had ever seen.

Of course after seeing Santa we had to grab a bite to eat and being with Taylor's and all we had to hit the buffet! Me and my sis in-law (Hollie, who we went with tonight) hate buffets, but our husband's love them! Their's nothing like a germ infested buffet. Someone did enjoy themselves and the icecream!

I love the tree....it turned out so great. I feel the same way though...about Christmas being gone already. Next year we will make a pact to get into the Christmas spirit early!!!
