Happy New Year!

So of course my post is always late!
2008 was probably the best and hardest year of my life!
This is how it began!! Big and pregnant!! It was the beginning of January (well January 16, to be exact!) and this was the night before I gave birth! I thought it would be cool to have a pic of how my belly looked the night before my baby was born. The next moring I headed to the hospital thinking it would be a pretty quick process.....well, needless to say Kennedy wanted to make a grand entrance to the world and wanted to come on her own time. 18 hours later, January 18, at 1:55 am she was born.ok.....I thought she was the most beautiful thing on earth!!!! That was the day that changed my life forever!

I feel like I have accomplished so much in 2008. I'm a mom! Do you know what an accomplishment this is? I thought my world couldn't be any better.....until I had a child. Babies are such a blessing and such little miracles. Being pregnant I have to say wasn't the most pleasant experience for me. I think on an average I threw up at least 3 times a day. That's just an average. I remember finailly calling it a day at work when I reached the 10th time. I just remember thinking "God please don't let this baby come out of my mouth!" (yes, it was that bad!) After I looked at that little miracle (and keeping in mind that the swelling of her eyes, nose and lips will go down......you know yall thought that too??!!!) I new it was ALL worth it! I never doubted her but I want say it wasn't the hardest and best part of my life!

She was sooo tiny.....her coming home dress didn't fit so well.
She started feeling out pretty quick!
I love that bow! I think it's as big as her head.

2008 will be a year i'll never forget and has so far been the best year of my life!

I loved being pregnant and I did the same thing...took pictures the night before I gave birth to my two oldest. I didn't have time to get a pic. before my 3rd, the dr. told me to go to the hospital as soon as I left his office. I did go straight to Sonic to get a burger and coke (since they won't let you eat and I was starving) and then I headed to the hospital.
