After ripping into my gift (I still get VERY excited about gifts!) Grammy and Grandaddy gave Kennedy her gift!
To top off the best Christmas ever, we left for the mountains Christmas afternoon! Not really afternoon more like at night! We decided to leave when it was time for Kennedy to go to bed so the trip would be a little easier! Kennedy done great! She slept all the way there. Even for the 2 hours we got lost on the mountain! (on a gravel road made for one car, with it raining, no cell phone service, at 5:00 in the morning and no gas!) That made the trip a bit more exciting. Needless to say we made it without running out of gas around 8:00am! It was an experience!!! We only stayed 3 nights and headed home late Sunday night. We wanted to get home to recuperate.

Me and Kennedy at the outlet mall.

Trying to get a family shot!!

Grammy Mary got her this blanket, pillow and baby.....she does love her babies!

After we done Christmas with the Taylor's we went to Grammy's for breakfast...........
This is Kennedy on the way! She passed out!! She was soooo tired from all of the excitement!
Me and Kennedy at Grammy's house. Notice the scarf, it was pretty much 90 degrees on Christmas but I was trying to feel the Christmas atmosphere and wishing it was cold. So, I had to through on a scarf with a short sleeve shirt so I wouldn't burn up!

Christmas was/is always such a blessing and one of my favorite holidays! It always my favorite because we celebrate Jesus's birth! Sometimes we get so wrapped up in all of the gifts, but I always want to make sure Kennedy knows the real reason for Christmas! So, every year we'll read the Christmas story before we open gifts to let her know that's what Christmas is ALL about!
As you can see daddy and Kennedy ditched there outfits as soon as they could!

Not to bad considering they just wanted to play while we're trying to get a cute shot! Next year maybe they'll sit a little longer! (If we're lucky!!!)

Tonight was our first trip to see Santa! We journeyed to the local mall (when I say local I mean it's 40 minutes away) where Santa was going to be and expecting there to be a crowd. I thought wrong. It was awesome! We literally were the only people in line. It was decorated so cute and it had to be the nicest Santa I had ever seen.

Kate and her famous smile!!
