Out with a few friends!

First of all, I've been totally neglecting my blog time and reading! I guess I would say I have been SUPER busy with work, family and just life in general! I'm learning STILL to balance everyday life with a child!

This past weekend we did manage to have some free time to hang out with some friends and celebrate a Birthday! I forgot how much fun we have when we all get together! We had a blast!

Meet our little Friend!

Sunday afternoon me, Adam and Kennedy went to my Grandmothers for Sunday lunch!! We ate lunch, chit-chatted for a while and met a new little friend!

Like at home the dragon flies love to make friends with the everyone......or attack!!! This one was pretty friendly! Unlike the ones at home!!!

This little fellow even landed on Kennedy's finger (with mommy's help!).

Happy Birthday Kate!

Saturday we celebrated Kate's (my niece) second Birthday!! I can't believe she's already 2! Boy does time fly!!

The kids had a great time swimming, slip and sliding, eating and much more!! The party was a blast!!

Testing the Waters!!!

This week we've had V.B.S. (Vacation Bible School) at our church! Our church is a little different, we always have it at night that way adults that work can also attend! This year the theme was "Down Under"......Australia!!! All of the teachers dressed to impress to go with the theme! Each night there were games, food, fun and more important the word was being taught!! We had a VERY successful week and hoping many lives were changed!

On the last night of V.B.S. they go ALL out!! This year they rented water slides!!!! And did the kids enjoy it!!!!

After a few drinks of water (that who knows had peed in that pool!!!!!!) she got a little brave or mommy and daddy did!! We figured she loved the water....so why not the slide!!!

As you can see she got a little side ways but she straighted on out and had a smooth ending!!! She LOVED it!! She kept going back for more!!!

V.B.S. was so much fun and truly a blessing! Thanks to all of the people who made it possible!
