Recap of 2010

2010...Can't believe it's another year already and I'm doing a recap.
As I was going through pictures I've realized how many trials and wonderful experiences God has brought us in 2010.
It definitely was a year filled laughter, tears, lessons taught and learning to trust in God.

Here are just a few (or maybe A LOT....lol) of pictures of events that really made this year special.

January Kennedy turned 2.
We did have to celebrate her Birthday 3 weeks early because Adam had to leave to go to Oklahoma.

OKLAHOMA......Wow, that was an obstacle in itself. I've definitely proved a lot to myself in those 5 months he was gone.
He left December 28 and came home May 18.
Everyday was a battle. Only with the strength of God and my family I overcame what I thought I could never do.
I have new found RESPECT for single mothers and military wives. Doing EVERYTHING alone is extremely difficult and also depressing. Lots of prayer and with the help of my parents thankfully it did go by fast.

This picture is on her Birthday. We celebrated that day with our family.
And daddy on skype. I will say I got pretty good with the computer while he was gone....I'm terrible with technology!
February

Her first piggy tails!! Yay!!
This was huge for me.
At the end of February me, Kennedy and my parents road tripped it to Oklahoma.
This was awesome.
We seen snow literally from Atlanta Georgia to Oklahoma. I've seen snow before but never hundreds of miles of it.

On the road.

We made it 20 hours later (for real!).
March
Baby Hamp Taylor's baby shower!!
A little blessing added to our family!

I forgot to add his picture in May so I put it here at the baby shower. This definitely was a moment I didn't want to leave out.
Hollie and Hamp.
Adam's brother Matt, Kate and Hamp.

April
I got on an airplane for the FIRST time in my life. I figured since my hubby was going to be an Air Traffic Controller, it was time to fly.
I flew to see him.
He took me to see the Oklahoma City bombing memorial. This was indescribable. It was sad, heroic and many more emotions.

Christmas Day

Final post about Christmas.
Bitter sweet I say!
The tree is down and all of the decor is put into bends ready to go into the attic. This will be the final thing to complete my checklist.

Christmas Morning Wow, was it fun this year. I know every year will get better and better but this by far was the BEST Christmas yet.
This was her favorite.

Meme and DD (grammy and grandaddy) had a special gift for Kennedy so we didn't show her until they got to our house.
Love this face.

A swing set.
Built by DD.
Materials Purchased by mommy, daddy, jammy, papa Dan (Adam's Mom and step Dad)and also my parents bought the swings. It was a group effort but ALL construction was done by my Daddy. I was SO proud. What an awesome and sentimental gift! Kennnedy LOVES it.
After breakfast we went to cousin Kate's to see what Santa brought her.
I didn't take many pictures because we're all talking and enjoying watching the kids!
After everything settled down and Kennedy got to play with her toys for a bit we went to my mom's for lunch.
We done Christmas with my brother and sister.

Daddy reading the Christmas story. He does it every year before the kids open presents.

Then the madness begins!

Kennedy's desk that DD also built.
What a mess!

All of the grand kids.

Christmas was truly a blessing this year.
I'm SO thankful for my sweet family!
I'm EXTREMELY blessed.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.
