Weekend Vacay!

Wow! I've super/not so busy...if that makes any sense!? Between work, laundry, cleaning, cooking (or take out...lol) I haven't mustard up a post in a week!

We (our little family) went on a mini vacay to our friends beach condo for a the weekend! It was a much needed 2 days of napping, food and some fun in the sun!!

The afternoons was so nice and cool that we stayed outside until almost dark and created our on entertainment....including making our own slide.....the little hill was perfect! lol!

And this is my favorite!! Not only do I love the pose she's doing I LOVE the hot orange ear plug in her ear!! Andrew (Rob and Traci's son) had one in his ear so Kennedy had to have one too!!

Yesterday afternoon me and Kennedy took a short bike ride and we returned Papa "T" (Adam's Dad) was soooo excited! He said "Keke (that's Kennedy's nickname that cousin Kate gave her) come here look what Papa "T" got you and for Kate too!!"
Thanks Papa "T"!!! It might be a little while before we master this but it will give mom and dad a great workout!!!!

Weekend Wrap Up!

Saturday, we went to my niece Memphis's first Birthday party (who exactly 6 months to the day apart!). It was at my mom and dad's place and got started bright and early......10am!!! We managed to make by 10:15!! What a great party it was! Swimming and a little rain but it didn't put a damper on the party! We still had a great time!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEMPHIS! Love you!

Saturday afternoon (I had to work first!) I had GDO (girls day out!) it was much needed girl time! A movie, a little shopping and Olive Garden......a girls heaven!!! We went and seen My sister's Keeper. If you haven't seen it I highly recommend this movie!!

My Hearts Desire!

Sunday Night at church we had this really amazing singing group come to our church named Calling Levi! They're not like really big time but they're getting big! One word to describe them AMAZING! I've never heard a group have such good harmony and such a pure heart!If you haven't heard them I encourage you to check them out! Calling Levi.com! Out front they had Cd's and little things they were selling and I picked Kennedy up a little something!This is my hearts desire!!! I pray everyday our little one will love Jesus with all of her heart and God will guide her in the right direction.....and mommy and daddy too!

Saturday we attended a Birthday party of a good friend/coworker of mine! Lauren turned the big 5!!! What a blast we had!!!! Plenty of food, fun and skating!!!The Birthday girl and her mommy!

4th of July!!!

WOW!!! What a great weekend! The morning started off bright and early with breakfast at Granny Shirley's and Papa T's house! The night before they had told us it would be ready around 6:30ish.....well, that's a little early for my liking but we managed to make it!!! And what a spread they had! My thoughts were maybe pancakes, some eggs......NO, it was the whole nine yards!!! Pancakes with homemade toppings, biscuits and gravy, muffins, sausage, bacon, grits, fruit....and more!!! It was YUMMY!

After a wonderful breakfast and a much needed nap......we were ready for our cookout! This year was the first time we've ever hosted a holiday event at our house! We grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, ate watermelon until we're sick and swam all day! What a great time with friends and family!

After a wonderful day we still had one more event......fireworks! Our town is pretty small but it does know how to have a great firework show!
