Weekend Wrap Up!

Friday
After work me, Adam, Kennedy and my parents went to grab a bite to eat at cracker barrel. I've noticed that past few weeks my little angel is growing up soooo fast! She's doing so much in so little time! It's like over night she knows how to do strange things that I thought she was to little to do! ......Anyways back to eating...... I put her in the high chair and the waitress asked would you like some crayons.....I kinda looked at her strange face like ummm.....does it look like she can color....well my mom answers before I could say "No" and says "sure!" Well, needless to say Kennedy knows how to use them! I don't what I was thinking! I guess I just keep thinking that she is way to young to do somethings (like color!).

After dinner mea and my mom went to this really neat dress sale (or should I say mad dash dress grab.....lol!) that she heard about from one our friends. It's a really neat sale they have smocking dresses and just boutique type clothing for really great prices! We kinda got a sneak peak friday night because the actual sale didn't begin until Saturday morning! We had to purchase tickets but for a dress sale it was worth it!

Saturday
Saturday was Kennedy's first trip to the park! It's finally warmed up enough to take her. She loved it. So, it has to be a weekly event! And she was soooo tired she slept for 3 hours when we got home!

Happy Birthday to a VERY special person!

Monday was my best friend Traci's birthday (over at Raisng Roberson's)! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TRACI! (Did I mention I forgot until she told me when she came to get her hair done!!!.....crap......what a friend uh?)

We decided to plan a last minute trip to the movies! I was in charge of getting movie times together so........I done that....(that will be important in a few minutes!) We rounded up our normal possie and headed to the movies! The plan was to see Shopaholic or Madea goes to jail. We get to the movies and I wrote down the completely wrong times!......Leave it to me to do this! We missed the first showing by 20 minutes and the next playing time was an hour 1/2 away! Go me, right? We decided to make the best of the situation and go eat! Besides we can always eat! (and it was the perfect opportunity to sing that embarrassing HAPPY BIRTHDAY song to Traci)

Yummy!!!!! This is what I had to eat! I have such a sweet tooth! If you haven't ever tried cracker barrel's apple dumplin......you must! It's to die for!

To Grandmother's house we go!

This weekend has flew by and all i've managed to get done was a little house work! I've had a terrible cold but we did manage to go to my Grandmother's today.

Every other Sunday Grandmother cooks this huge feast for all her kids and grandkids! It's such a great thing because we all get together and our kids get to spend time with each other! I cheerish the time I have with her because her health isn't the greatest and not to mention she's in her 80's! She's still got her sense of humor though!

And YES that is a retro couch straight out of the 70's ........this thing is sooooo old! It's the only couch I remember her having!...lol!....Still in perftct condition! She has the best view.....the she walks out to this! (the river!)

Making Progress.....

We've been in our new house for about 3 1/2 months now and we're just now making progress in organizing, unpacking (yes, I still have boxes full of junk), sorting and trying to get some kind of decor going on. The plainess in a sense was kinda depressing me....the dullness of NO color ...... so, the past two weeks i've been picking up things here and there like pillows, picture frames, candles and wall decor. Just things to brighten up the living room. (We're going to take one room at the time starting with the living room). I'm pretty good at picking things out just not hanging them or trying to place or put them together. My mom on the other hand is! Many of you don't know my mother but she's a VERY talented woman! She's got many talents and decorating is just one of many. (I'm a very lucky daughter!) So with her help my house (living room) is coming together!

She put ths arrangement together! Actually, I had tried to put it together and she walked in and said "do you mind if I add something to it??"........In other words, it really needed some help!

I still have a lot more to do but it's all starting to come together!

Back to square one!

I've been so busy that i've been absent from the blog world and from cleaning my house! So today I started some much needed cleaning, but I didn't get much done! Do you ever feel that way? I was steadily cleaning and some little something was steadily behind me destroying!!...lol!! I started in my bedroom hanging up clothes that i've thrown on the chair for the past week because i've changed clothes probably 3 times each day! (You know, it's tough being a girl! Always feeling like we have nothing to wear!) Okay, back to cleaning......got my bedroom cleaned then headed to the kitchen! Got all the dishes washed (that had been there for a week!), then picked up the living room (well moved the toys around!) and headed to Kennedy's room. I started sorting all of the clothes that I picked up off the floor that she had drug out of her hamper and closet! After I finished that I started back into the living room to find this:
Found my little sweet angel destroying the house right where I just got done cleaning!!! Where is daddy when all this is going on??????? Watching her!!!......lol!! Got to love the daddy's!!!!
