Disney, Cookie Making and Parties

All in a weeks time I tell ya!
Between last Wednesday to this Wednesday we've managed to go to Disney, attend 2 Christmas parties and go to a cookie party all in a week. What a week!

Here is a recap!

Disney Trip
We took our annual Disney trip at the beginning of last week.
Me, my mom, my bf and her mother and our kids went.
We brought along my niece for extra help because our husbands weren't able to tend due to work.
So, 4 kids (2 yrs. old) and 4 adults. We had a crew. We figured if we had 1 to 1 we could handle it.
The plan was 2 parks and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party.
Well, we only done one park because it was SUPER cold and Bennett came down with bronchitis. Instead of the 2 parks for the kids we just hung out at down town Disney for a bit. Then chilled the rest of the day.

Rain Forest Cafe.

It was SO cold we bought ski jackets for the kids.

Ms. Beverly and Mom

Magic Kingdom
All bundled up.

Getting ready to watch the parade.

We had a great time....well, minus the super cold weather. I think I may have jinxed myself. Last year it was 90 degrees so this year I prayed for cold weather.....I got it!! LOL!
The high the whole time we're there was 5o degrees.

Christmas cookie decorating party.
Last year we missed the 1st annual Christmas cookie decorating party because we're out of town. This year we weren't going to miss it.
My sis in-law has hosted this event for the past 2 yrs. and what a hit it is.
She bakes the cookies and we bring the goodies to decorated them. The kids absolutely LOVED it.

YUMMY!
The cookies were adorable but I wouldn't say they were eatable! Especially, with all the finger licking going on....lol!
We'll be putting those out for Santa.

Christmas Sunday.
I'm like a little kid still. I still buy a Christmas dress and now of course I have to get Kennedy one. This year Mom/Meme made Kennedy's. It has some sentimental value to it. Kennedy, Grandaddy and Meme

Christmas party #1
Nanny Shirley and Papa T's house (Adam's side of the family).
The Taylor party was pretty low key. We had desserts and just a great time fellow shipping. Oh and of course presents....Kennedy's favorite part!
Hollie and Hamp

I can't wait until Christmas. Kennedy is going to love it this year. She loved opening presents.

Aunt Shane and the girls.

Me, our niece Brittany and Hollie.

Christmas party #2
Last night we celebrated my mom's side of the family Christmas party.
Can we say......the family has multiplied the past 3 yrs.?!
This is the group minus most of the kids (who are playing in the play room like bunch of wild banshees!). It really makes it fun with all of the family. It's wild, crazy and super loud but I wouldn't change a thing!
Some of my favorite gals.

Sisters.
Aunt Alexis, Aunt Debbie and mom.

Hannah and 5wk old Gracie.

Anna and Lux

All of the great grands.
I'm pretty sure theirs 16. Some weren't in the picture.
16 and counting that is. Our family seems to be growing more and more every year. My cousin has a little on the way in the spring. WOW!!

Melissa (the cousin that is expecting) and me.
All of the girls in the family.
Gosh....one day i'll get a good picture with my husband without him making a crazy face.
For now, I guess i'll take what i can get...lol!
Hope everyone has a VERY Merry Christmas and God bless.

Still not SO sure about Santa

This past week we took Kennnedy to see Santa. With a little one you NEVER know how they're going to react.
A little recap from last year.........
She wasn't fond of him at all. So, the Santa picture pretty much became a family picture.

With high hopes this year, we've been talking about Santa sense December 1.
Well, we went to the same place we go every year (a very small, low key mall). We walk into the mall to see Santa singing some of his finest tunes....LOL!!! It was hilarious. Kennedy loved it.

After that wonderful melody of songs it was our turn.....or should I say we were the people in line. She immediately told Santa what she wanted "A big Barbie house!" and then she was done. That was it. No more contact for her. She kinda bolted after she said what she wanted. Adam tried to do some convincing to get her to sit in his lap.

Didn't happen! Another family photo with Santa.

Tomorrow we're off to Disney! Woohooo! Me, Kennedy, my Mom, my b/f and her kids. I'm SOOOO excited.

Christmas Pictures

This year we just played it traditional and simple with our pictures.
Stood by the tree, smiled and snapped. That was pretty much the order too. Taking pictures with a 2 1/2 year old can be quite challenging.

Thanksgiving Recap

I can't believe Thanksgiving has came and gone. Where did November go?
This year we went to my hubby's family for Thanksgiving. All of his brother's came and can we say the fam is multiplying!? It was so nice having all of the kids together and enjoying so much needed family time. Thanksgiving Day.

Wednesday night is when everyone came in. We all (well, minus 2 out of 5 brothers) stayed the night. 3 families in one house. I was figuring mass chaos but it wasn't at all! It was really nice. What was even nicer, all the kids camped out in the living room with Grammy and Papa Dan.
Me and Hollie

Lynn and cousin Kassidy

All the grand kids: (oldest to youngest) Kate, Luke, Kennedy, Kassidy and Hamp. How neat is it that the 3 gran girls all start with a K? Not even planned! Neither was the order of the pic. Oldest to youngest!

LOVE this!

Kennedy, Kate and Hamp

Grammy and Kennedy
This is my favorite of the day. She's such a mess!

Thursday night me and Adam came home because he had to work I HAD to go shopping! Got that HAD in their. I LOVE BLACK FRIDAY!
This year black Friday almost didn't happen due to a horrific stomach bug. It all started around departure time.....1:00am. The puking didn't last too long. By 7:00am it had stopped and nothing but sheer determination got me through the day. It hit my sis in-law around the same time that I stopped and she wasn't as lucky as me. Hers was lil worse than mine!
Me and Mom getting ready to head out. I felt SOOOO sick right here!!

Me, my niece McKenna and mom.
Thanksgiving was wonderful.
Now onto Christmas.
This month is already busy and it's just December 1!!! SLOW down December. I want to embrace and enjoy every moment.
We've got our tree up and Christmas pictures done... check 1 and check 2. Now time to relax and enjoy this month because it will fly by.
