Birthday Party and Race day!

Friday night was my niece Brylee's 5Th Birthday party!
It's crazy that's she's already 5! Man does time fly! She had a wonderful Birthday party with tons of family and friends there....and a water slide! Wooohooo!

Saturday, was race day! My hubby's FAVORITE day! We had some new cars out (which were some good friends) so it made the day more interesting! It ended up being cut short due to the rain but all in all it was a blast!

These next 2 months will probably be even harder! I have taken on a new adventure in my life! I'm the new assistant coach for Junior Varsity and Varsity high school Volleyball! I'm super excited about this new adventure and looking forward to the opportunity to help guide and lead these young girls! Wish me luck...and prayers!

Goodness the week and weekends have been flying by too fast! It seems like I blink my eyes and it's Friday and then we start a new work week again!

This past weekend was super low-key. We had dinner with some friends and then just hung out around the house.

Sunday was church....which was pretty eventful!

You see me and my mom teach the 1yr. olds...well pretty much entertain the 1yr. olds. It's pretty hard to teach them a song or a verse so we do the best we can to keep them occupied and entertained. I guess I can say I failed miserably this Sunday. We had a little one that wasn't too happy to leave her Grandma. I thought I had the situation under control because she started playing and having a great time so the Grandma snuck out. All of a sudden she's started bursting out into tears. So, I picked her up with a calming voice to try to consul her...well that was working at ALL....so I proceeded with you want your juice, cookie, um......I don't know...lol!! Well, lets just say she worked herself in such a tizzy she puked all over me, the floor and lets just say orange puke doesn't look so hot on a white dress! Thankfully, it was only a little and most hit the floor. After that we went to get her Grandma and ALL was fine.

On the way home my hubby had noticed a few speckles that had gotten missed from the clean up on my dress and he says (with a completely grossed out look) "what's on your dress?" I replied "Oh that's puke that I missed....oops!!" HA!!! Guess that's the price you pay working with little ones...but I LOVE it!

After all that we headed to eat with the fam...And NO, I didn't let that ruin my appetite!!

Story Time Live!

This past week we took Kennedy to see Story Time live! The shows that came are her absolute favorite! Wonder Pets, Backyard Agains, Kilian and Dora! (ok, sorry if these are spelled wrong spell check wouldn't help me out!)
It was awesome and she sat through the whole performance! Before we went in.

Of course we had to buy a t-shirt (which was an ungodly amount of money for a size 2t t-shirt but she HAD to have it!) and then she wanted to put it on!

Kennedy really enjoyed it. Next is YoGabba Gabba. Not sure how I feel bout this one! Have you ever watched this show? Scary!!! LOL!!

Weekend at the beach!

This past weekend we spent it at the beach with some very good friends of ours! They're there on vacay for two weeks and invited us to join them for a few days! Due to my hubby's new job we could only go for the weekend. So, it was short by sweet!
Mama's not sure if she could handle more than a few days. It was SUPER nice but it was also SUPER hot!!

Birthday Parties and Race time!

We had a jammed packed weekend!

Friday night I had planned a surprise party for my hubby's 30Th Birthday! I can't believe I actually pulled it off. He had NO clue! I can never sneak one by on this guy!
Everyone arrived at 6:30 and Adam was working on race cars at a friends house and he came home at 7:00. SURPRISE!!!

Saturday morning was my niece's 2ND Birthday party. Memphis and Kennedy are 6months to the day apart!

Wordless Wednesday!....with a little story!!

And YES.....Kennedy's front teeth are gone! I'm not sure if you've noticed in some of her pictures in the past but they've gone for about 2 months now!

Back in January we're at a baby shower for one of my good friends at the church and she was playing around....well, you know how a 2 year old plays! Full speed! She was Running (with all of the other kids of course) and ran into a chair then fell face first on the concrete ground! OUCH!!!Her mouth immediately started to bleed but I just thought she busted her lip! So, we left the shower of course .....oh and maybe I should add that I woke her up from a nap to go to this baby shower so it was doomed to begin with! LOL! Anyways, I watched her mouth for a few days and it looked fine, just a little swollen! Well, about a month later her front 2 teeth started to chip and discolor within matter of days! Of course I freak out take her to the pediatric dentist....and then freak out again because he tells me they have to come out because it has caused nerve damage! YIKES......my baby won't have front teeth again until she's 6 or 7 at the earliest!? Well after some time praying and listening to the dentist we had them removed! She done great! It was a major deal, she had to be put to sleep because of her age and the 2 teeth beside them were also capped because they were cracked! Needless to say it was a huge deal for mommy not only emotionally but finically....who would have known it would cost a small fortune for that! Praise the Lord it got covered under medical insurance because it was accidental related!!

So, my lil one will be sportin the snaggle teeth for quite sometime!
