Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to two "VERY" special men in my life!!

I absolutely have the best daddy in the in the world! I praise the Lord each year to be able to have one more year celebrate this day with him! I love you daddy!

Not only the best daddy but hubby too! I pray everyday for the Lord's will for our family and I'm super blessed to have such a Godly husband and father to our child! Thank you so much Adam! Love you! Saturday we celebrated with the family. Cooked out, swam and enjoy family time!

Sunday afternoon we had some very close friends, my parents and Adam's parents over to cookout. It kinda just started out just being us and our friends then it grew...but we had a blast!

My BF Traci brought this YUMMY cake over for dessert!!! It was delicious!

Wordless Wednesday with a FEW words!

Goodness, I just can't seem to get back into the swing of things! Hopefully I will get back into some kind of routine! I just have the summer lazies I guess!

It's been so hot here our days/afternoons has spent spent at Grammy and Granddaddy's house. At the swimming pool.

This year has been SO much easier because she can wear water wings. Last year she still wasn't big enough but this year....she's a little water bug!

Not only is it SO hot and the swimming pool is pretty much the only thing we can do without melting but it's a great way to where out a 2yr old. She slept for 3 1/2 hours today! Awesome Break for mommy!

Catching Up

Wow...I had to dust off the keyboard before I started.

Since Adam's been home I really haven't had time to blog or do much of anything on the computer. We've just been enjoy some sweet much needed family time!

Some of you have asked where my hubby was for 4 1/2 months. Well, he was in Oklahoma City training for the FAA (air traffic controller). It was a very intense training and not recommended for family to come along while he was there. It was SUPER hard for us but we survived....only by the grace of God! Now he's home pursuing his career!! And boy are we glad!!

A lot has happened in 2 weeks!

We took advantage of the long weekend and headed to the lake! The weather was wonderful and we had a great time!

I can tell summer has officially started! Busy times and SUPER hot weather! I'm looking forward to many days at the pool and beach!

Mother's Day

Mother's day was extremely good this year! I'm not sure if it's because Kennedy is getting older, or that I'm learning/loving and appreciating being a mommy more and more everyday. I have always appreciated being a mommy but each year brings more joy to my heart! Being a mommy is the most rewarding gift that God has given me! I pray everyday that God is molding me to mold her!

Sunday we just hung out with the family! We enjoyed a delicious lunch (in which I prepared this year...I was very proud!) and just hung out by the pool! My little angel!
