A full day!

Thursday at work I wasn't busy in the afternoon so I took full advantage of it! I took the afternoon off and decided to have a play day with Kennedy! Park day had fell on Thursday this week so we started off by heading to the park! I do have to add that it was smokin hot outside!

After park day we headed over to my mom's for Kennedy's first swim of the summer!! Let's just say she LOVED it! She had NO fear of the water! After getting super tired of chasing her around the pool we filled up a bucket that entertained her for a while!

After an afternoon at the pool Kennedy was wore slap out and took a 3 hour nap!! yay!!

She woke and Granny Shirley, Kate and went to pick the peaches off the peach tree! That's what so nice about livin in the country walk out your front door and we have instant entertainment!

Then we had one last event .....one of my good friends Suzann is expecting a little girl, so we had to go to the baby shower!! Oh how I do love baby showers! Not only because of the cute little clothes and new little toys....I LOVE the cake!!!...lol!!

Yummy!! All of that icing! ...and I requested a corner piece!! I loved the saying on the cake "Hello mommy goodbye tummy!!

What a wonderful Mother's Day!

What a wonderful Mother's day weekend I/we had! Friday we left to spend the weekend with Adam's mom (Grammy). We got there pretty late so we went straight to bed! Saturday morning Kennedy got up bright and early ready to PLAY!! That's literally the first word out of her mouth PLAY! She immediately was ready to go outside with Grammy to feed the animals!

That afternoon we had a wedding to go to! One of Adam's friends from high school was getting married! It was in this amazingly cute chapel/church that had stained glass windows! I loved it! It was very old and vintage looking!

She has an obsession with going up and down stairs! She about wore daddy out!

Sunday Kennedy woke up bright and early AGAIN ready to PLAY!! I had decided to drag myself out of bed get a shower and help feed the animals too! We had such a great time! She still is saying the horse's name and talking about the doat's!! It is adorable!

Sunday after we ate lunch we headed home to spend the rest of the afternoon with my mom! We grilled out and just had a fun time with my brother and sister!

Me and my wonderful sweetheart!! He did a great job on Mother's day this year! He got me some much needed perfume! Or he just got tired of smelling my body splash from 2 years ago!!...lol!!

Last but not least my mommy!! What a very special woman this is in my life! I love you so much mom and I'm VERY blessed to have a mom like you!! I LOVE YOU!

She's becoming a DIVA!

For entertainment in the mornings while I'm getting ready Kennedy has always loved to play with my shoes! She loves to pull them off the shelf and put them back. Well, the past 2 mornings she's managed to get some of them on and walk around the house in them! Tonight after me and my husband got home from work we're in the living room and here walks in Kennedy with mommy's shoes on!!

I mean she completely looked like a natural in them!

Not only is little miss diva strutting her stuff in my shoes, she has a new found love for accessorizing! I must say she does take after me in that department!

It's really strange but it's like in the past week the child's vocab has tripled! It's like they learn over night! I have learned she will repeat whatever you say and do whatever your doing! I guess she has been watching me more than I think.....the shoes and the jewelry!!

What a busy weekend!

What a busy weekend we've had!

Saturday it started out with me having to arrive at work at 8:oo am! And we all know that, that isn't hairdresser time! It's more like 10:00am! I had to go in early to do a dance teams hair for pictures and I really enjoyed it! Can't wait until Kennedy can be in dance (or maybe I can...lol!) Anyways, that was a busy morning but I did manage to sneak at early for a mother daughter brunch at my sister in-laws church! It was such a great time! Me, Kennedy, Mom and Jessica (my sister in-law) went together. It was such a cute theme and SUPER girly, girl! They had several of the ladies bring in there wedding gowns and had them displayed around the fellowship hall (from many different years!!!). Then they had a few girls model them! It was really neat to see how much wedding gowns have changed and how some styles have came back around!

Kennedy really wasn't amused with all of it as much as I was! She of course found her own entertainment!

Not toys or food just Hawaiian fruit punch plastic jugs is what she wanted to play with!

After the brunch we headed home to squeeze in a quick nap and to get ready for the triplets Birthday party!! The party was held a the local skating rink (the same exact skating rink that I used to go to!) and oh did it bring back memories!! I used to LOVE to skate in high school! We walked in and it still had that same old musky smell! We visited for a few minutes and grabbed a bite to eat then started lacing up the skates! It was like riding a bike!

Happy early Birthday Payne, Bennett and EmmaRae! We love you very much and what a blessing and miracle from God you are!

Today after church a few ladies got together for one of our friends Birthday! We made a special trip to olive garden.....yummy! Her Birthday was actually on Easter but everyone has been so busy that we're finally able to get together!! Happy belated Birthday Suzann! Love you!
