Halloween Festivities Part 1

Let the Halloween festivities begin!
WOW what a busy week/weekend and it's only Saturday!
I figured I would post while Kennedy was napping today so on Monday I wouldn't have 100 pictures on my blog.

At the beginning of the week project pumpkin carving began.
This is a Daddy job. He's good at the detailed things like this...unlike me!

Thursday night we headed to the zoo with our friends. They have something called Spooktacular for Halloween. They pretty much just hand out candy to the little ones and have a few spook zones for the older kids. We avoided that area.
Payne, Bennett, EmmaRae and Kennedy

This was my favorite part of the night. I loved looking at all of the pumpkins!

They pretty much strolled the whole time. We figured if they were liking it, lets not mess up a good thing..lol!

Friday at work me and my co-worker (and my mom) dressed up.
Our theme: 80's
And I'm pretty sure we ROCKED it!

Janet, me and mom
We had way to much fun dressing up.

That night we had our first family Halloween costume party. I had to do a quick wardrobe change due to all of the Rave hairspray I used to get them bangs to do that.
All of the adults were suppose to dress up but only a few did. I decided to play it safe and go as a cow girl and Kennedy wore her costume.

Anna, Nathan and Jesse

The night ended with a hay ride.
I think their were 30 or so of us on it. The adults had as much fun as the kids!

Charon and Gracie

What a fun night!
1 party down...to more events left!!

FALL...how I love you SO much

I absolutely LOVE this time of year.
The fall colors, smells, decor and cooler weather (Or lack there of cooler weather here.I'm hoping for that soon.)
Also, this time of the means the fair. I'm in love with the atmosphere and the food there. Their is nothing like a funnel cake and cotton candy to brighten your day.
Kennedy, was super excited this year. As soon as we walked in she squealed "Ahhhhh....the fair! My (that's how she refers to herself) wanna ride the marry-go-round!" She had NO fear of anything (I'm not sure if that's good or bad!).
Cousin Memphis came along too.

This was her favorite.

The other FAVORITE man in my life. My Daddy!

Minus the creepy fair carnies it was a wonderful time.
On a side note, volleyball season is over (insert a huge smile and YAHOOOOOO). We ended up 3rd in our district, with a 15-7 record. I'm pretty proud! It was a wonderful experience but glad that chapter is over. Now my afternoons are free....meaning I have to start cooking dinner again!! Boo!! But I'm happy to know this afternoon there is not one event planned on my canlender.

Wordless Wednesday

We went to our local Pumpkin Patch/Corn Maze today. We had a BLAST!
